ABSTRACT

Objective To analyze the trend of suicide mortality in residents of Hainan province, and explore the application of time sequence model in the prediction of the mortality of suicide. Methods The mortality data of suicide in residents of Hainan province between January,2014 and December,2016 were collected and analyzed with time sequence model and the mortality rate of suicide during January-June,2017 in Hainan was predicted with the model. Results During January,2014 to June 2017,a total of 576 suicide cases were reported in Hainan, the mortality rate was 1.5/100 000.The established ARIMA model had good fitting for the suicide mortality in previous times and the prediction result was quite similar to the actual mortality, the predicted mortality rate was within the 95% confidence interval of the actual rate. Conclusion The time sequence model for the prediction of suicide mortality in Hainan was "ARIMA (0,1,0) (0,0,0) 12",and the prediction effect of the model was better, which can be used to predict the suicide mortality in Hainan.

ABSTRACT

[Objective] To guide the health preservation more scientifically and effectively through discussing relationship between natural timing and spirit-regulating, and studying the influence of lifecycle and time sequence regularity on the spirit-regulating. [Methods] The relationship of body and spirit, time property of the spirit, time sequence regularity and those lifecycle were adopted to analyse the theoretical basis and specific measures on regulating spirit based on time differentiation. [Results] Body as well as the spirit would be followed by the changes of the time sequence regularity, also at different stages of human body, the spirit changed with it accordingly. [Conclusion] TCM holds that body and spirit are unified, the lifecycle and natural timing affect human body and spirit correspondingly, so if we know the relation of the spirit and time, regulate spirit by time differentiation, which must be helpful for keeping good mind, even for health and longevity.

ABSTRACT

Objective To compare the pass rates of two primary hearing screening times and to determine the appropriate screening time. Methods The newborns born in 2004 and 2005 at our hospital were divided into two groups: group A and group B.Group A received hearing screening with distortion product otoacoustic emission(DPOAE) on the 3rd day after birth, while group B screened in one month after birth. The newborns who failed the initial screening were rescreened one month later. The babies with positive screening findings were referred to full auditory assessments. Results Group A(n=2 305) had pass rate 81.9% at the initial screening and 85.2% at rescreening.Group B(n=1 348) had pass rate 93.9%(?2=103.99,P

ABSTRACT

When.direct approximation of the ends of the injured nerves is impossible, nerve autografting is widely used in these days. Authors tried to observe nerve regeneration in time sequence of nerve autografting and tried to find out the most optimal time for nerve autografting in experimental study. The Sprague-Dawley mice were used in performing nerve autografting and it performed with the segment of the opposite sciatic nerve as a donor nerve after resection of a sciatic nerve. The results obtained were as follows: 1. The regeneration of axon can be observed well in the first observation of 2 weeks after nerve autografting within 2 days, but active myelination can be observed apparently 4 weeks after grafting. 2. The groups of grafting within 2 days after nerve resection showed more rapid nerve regeneration and less atrophy of the reinnervated skeletal muscle than the groups of grafting over 1 week after nerve resection did. 3. In case which has been grafted at 4 weeks after nerve resection, there was abundant axonal proliferation at 4 weeks after grafting. 4. Changes of the reinnervated skeletal muscle in the groups of grafting within 2 days were subtle, but the groups of grafting after 1 week showed irregular neurogenic atrophy although nerve regeneration has been active at 8 weeks after grafting. 5. Although the functional effect can not be evaluated exactly, the result of autograft showed relatively good evidence of nerve regeneration even after grafting has been performed 16 weeks after the nerve injury.
